Holiday Parade … short, sweet and fun

Don’t blink, or you might miss it — the annual Hood River Holidays Parade, that is. With 11 entries, it won’t compete with the Tournament of Roses, but that’s its charm. Here are some pix of the fine folks who led the way up to the tree-lighting ceremony. Carols, cocoa, cookies and dry skies made it a great time for all.

Hood River Valley High School students marched to raise money for FISH Food Bank.

Supporters of Adopt a Dog brought their pooches to show the joy of pet ownership.

Heavily decorated fire trucks are a staple of the parade.

Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down ... Oak Ave.
